For whatever you may need

The most important part of our job is not only to offer you the best price but to ensure that you also benefit from our excellent service. That is why we have prepared this list outlining the most important points you should think about when renting a car.

Before making a reservation, please:
  • Make sure you meet the requirements for renting a car, in accordance with the rental terms and conditions.
  • Provide correct information.
  • Make sure you have chosen a large enough car.
  • Remember that you have made a reservation for a ''category'' of cars and not for a specific model.
  • Read all the additional information that we provide (you may need some of it).
  • Leave a message at the time of booking if you have any special requirements, or if there is anything else you think we should know about you.
  • Make sure you have read the Rental Terms and Conditions.
Before driving away:
  • Before starting your journey, make sure you have all the required documents with you. Passport or ID card.
  • Make sure your driving licence is valid for the entire duration of the rental period.
  • Make sure you have your credit card with you (unless you have chosen full insurance FDW).
  • Make sure your phone works in your country of destination in case you need to contact our agent.
  • Take a copy of your confirmation (email confirmation)
Upon arrival:
  • Please follow the instructions given to you in the email confirmation and go to the meeting point.
  • Our supplier will be waiting for you, holding a sign bearing your name or that of our company, Motion Rentals Group. If you have any difficulty locating our agent, please call us and we will assist you.
  • Please follow our agent to the car.
Concluding the contract
  • You will have to produce your documents (passport/ID card and driving licence), and provide any other information you may be asked for (home address).
  • Do not forget to provide a second telephone number, if you have one.
  • Before signing the contract, check the car for any existing damage and, if so, make sure that it is marked down on your rental agreement.
  • Make sure that the drop-off time and location data, as well as your personal details, are marked down correctly.
  • Ask for any directions you may need (filling stations, your route for leaving the airport, etc.).
  • Ask what kind of fuel your car takes.
  • Ask anything you need to know about operating the car.
  • Make sure you pay the correct amount, as written in the contract.
  • If you use your credit card, make sure you get the receipt (the contract you signed may also be used as a receipt).
On the road
  • Please, drive safely and responsibly.
In the case of an emergency
  • In the event of an emergency situation, make sure that you have all the emergency phone numbers (police, hospital, fire department) with you.
  • Keep calm and ask people nearby for help. If there is nobody in the vicinity, call the emergency numbers.
Upon return
  • Make sure you arrive on time. If you plan to arrive earlier than due, or if you are running late, please let us know.
  • Kindly try to inform our supplier before you arrive at the drop-off point.
  • Make sure that the car has not been damaged, and that our supplier has signed your contract certifying that you have returned the vehicle in the same condition as it was provided at the start of the rental.
  • Before leaving, check to see if you have not forgotten any of your personal belongings or travel documents in the vehicle.
